Amonte Jakeem Limberry

–

Cambridge, Maryland

Amonte Jakeem Limberry, “Monte”, as he was affectionately known, from Easton, MD departed this Earthly life on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Talbot Hospice House in Easton.

Amonte was born in Easton, MD on October 24, 1994 to Ardella Limberry and the late Jerome Hall. Educated in the Talbot County Public Schools System, Amonte graduated in 2013. After graduating, he held various positions with several local employers. Amonte was most recently employed with Swish Industries in Cambridge, MD until his health began to fail.

A servant volunteer at heart, Amonte was a proud member of Easton’s, Cambridge’s, and Church Creek’s Volunteer Fire Departments. He possessed a passion for firefighting and fellowship. An active member of Union Baptist Church in Easton, MD, Amonte accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age.

Amonte was extremely full of life, love, and positivity! He maintained his handsome smile and resilience throughout many challenges in his life. Amonte was a compassionate soul as he always caringly hugged and acknowledged anyone he encountered. He adored all animals. A devoted Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders fan, Amonte was fond of watching and playing football, as well as attending games with his brother, Arnell. He relished watching wrestling matches and bull-riding. Playing kickball, playing basketball, and listening to music were a few of Amonte’s favorite activities. Swimming, fishing, taking walks, and bicycle riding were also his pleasures. He and his mother, Ardella, delighted in listening to the scanner together and attending local Bingo games. During Bingo, Amonte happily assisted with distributing snacks to participants.

Waiting for Amonte at the Heavenly gates besides his father, Jerome are his maternal grandfather Benjamin Gibson, maternal grandmother Mary Emma Limberry, maternal uncle Horace Limberry, maternal aunt Louise Skinner, maternal aunt Odessa Sudler, and nephew-in law, Kenneth Watkins II.
