In Loving Memory of
Albert Demond Weatherly, Jr.
December 17, 1996 – August 31, 2026
Albert Demond Weatherly, Jr., affectionately known to those who loved him as “Boo Boo” or “Bone”, departed this life on August 31, 2026, at the age of 29. Born on December 17, 1996, in Easton, Maryland, Albert was the beloved son of Kiona Kilson and Albert Weatherly, Sr.
Albert’s life was marked by a strength and resilience that became evident at a young age. In 2011, Albert was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. His illness interrupted what should have been a typical high school experience, preventing him from beginning his junior year as planned because of an extended hospitalization. For approximately ten months, he courageously endured treatments. Despite the challenges he faced, Albert continued to fight and eventually returned to school and graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School in 2014.
In December 2025, Albert was diagnosed with leukemia. Once again, he faced his illness with courage, determination, and an incredible will to live. For the months that followed, he continued his fight, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones. His journey was not defined by his illness, but by the strength he displayed and the love, laughter, and memories he created along the way.
One of the greatest joys of Albert’s life was learning that he was going to become a father. He was incredibly excited about the news and looked forward to fatherhood with genuine anticipation. When he learned that he was having a son, his excitement grew even greater. Becoming a father was a special moment in Albert’s life, and his love for his son, Albert Weatherly III, will forever be a part of his legacy.
Albert had a love for enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed trying different restaurants and discovering new foods, and anyone who knew Albert knew that he loved to shop. He also had the opportunity to work with Spanky’s Food Truck, an experience he truly enjoyed. He spent time working in building cleaning as well, taking pride in being productive and contributing in whatever ways he could.
Above all, Albert cherished his family. He leaves to carry on his memory his beloved son, Albert Weatherly III; his mother, Kiona Kilson and; his siblings, Latrell Kilson, Demesha Kilson, and Jye Beach; and his grandparents, Gloria Hawkins (Ronald Hawkins) and Vannard Newton.
He also leaves to cherish his memory Demetrius Kilson, who played a significant and loving role in Albert’s life and helped raise him throughout much of his childhood.
Albert’s memory will forever be treasured by his niece, Olivia “Liv” Kilson; his aunts, Andrea (Tasha) Moals, Vannell Darby (David), and Monique Newton; his uncles, Lionel Weatherly and Vannard Newton, Jr.; godparents, Carlisha Deaton and Vernon Ashley; best friends, Ikeah Bell and LJ Palmer, Jr.; his special friend, Ajanae Brown; and a host of cousins, extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
Albert was preceded in death by father, Albert Weatherly, Sr., his aunt Lawanda Weatherly, and his grandparents, Mary Adkins and Johnny Sneed, who will forever remain a part of his family’s story and legacy.
Albert’s life reminds us that strength is not always measured by the length of a journey, but by the courage with which that journey is traveled. For fifteen years, he fought a battle that few could fully understand, yet he continued to find moments of joy, family, friendship, good food, shopping, and laughter.
His life may have been far too short, but it was filled with moments that will never be forgotten. His greatest legacy will live on through his son, Albert III, and through the countless lives he touched simply by being Albert.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone blessed to know and love him.
Rest peacefully, Albert. Your fight is over. Your pain is gone. Your love remains. Your memory lives on.
