Albert Rudolph Thomas, 71 of Bellevue, MD departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at his home.\n \n\n He was the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Thomas. Albert was educated in the public schools of Talbot and was a graduate of Robert Russa Moton High School.\n \n\n Albert was self employed as a Landscape Gardner. His passion was being a Mechanic. Skeet as he was affectionately called, married the former Vanessa Thurman on October 23, 1999. He was a member of Thurman Memorial Church of God in Christ.\n \n\n In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father in-law, Elder A. L. Thurman, three brothers, Charles Kirby, Samuel Thomas and Harold Thomas and a brother in-law, Anthony Thurman.\n \n\n He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Thomas; a stepson, Sylvester Williams (Carmeshia); five children he raised as his own, Robert Holley and Arlene Holley (both of St Michaels, MD), George Holley (Cordova, MD), Curtis Holley, (bother of (Easton, MD) and Angel Holley (St. Michaels, MD); a sister, Nina McClamy (Baltimore, MD); a loving mother in-law, Janelle Thurman (St. Michaels, MD); sisters in-law, Geneva Johnson (St. Michaels, MD), Verlencia Conyers (Baltimore, MD) and Mozell Thurman (St. Michaels, MD); brothers in-law, Clyde Thurman, Andre Thurman, Irvin Mckenzie and Quentin Sawyer; Aunt, Gracie Wilson (St. Michaels, MD); nieces and nephews, Bernard (Robin) McClamy, Cora Sawyer, Tony McClamy, Alfred McClamy (Debbie) , Charles McClamy and Darlene McClamy and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
